Diagnostic Support Services
Our team includes laboratory personnel, certified sonographers, nurses, certified medical assistants, and others who assure our patients receive the best possible care using the most advanced technology available.
Our staff are certified and registered diagnostic medical sonographers with more than 45 years experience. Laurie, Molly and Lindsey are NT (Nuchal Translucency) certified. Nuchal Translucency is a 1st trimester “screening” ultrasound to address potential chromosomal defects.
Our Certified/Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Our laboratories are certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). This certification assures that we provide accurate and reliable clinical laboratory results to our patients.
Osteoporosis Screening (DXA) and Consultation
Osteoporosis is a silent bone condition that affects women of all ages. Western ObGyn osteoporosis screening uses DXA technology to help detect low bone density.
Women diagnosed with osteoporosis, or who are at risk for osteoporosis, work with our certified family nurse practitioner to improve nutrition and exercise, and to explore medical therapy recommendations. To learn more, talk with your Western ObGyn provider.
