Biography and Personal Interests

I knew early in my medical training that I wanted to be an obstetrician gynecologist. I was drawn to the idea of caring for women throughout their lives, developing relationships with my patients as I saw them back year after year, and having the expertise to manage their pregnancies and offer surgery if needed. I strive to be a resource for my patients, providing knowledge to empower them to make the best choices for their health.

I completed my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Minnesota in 2011. While living in the Twin Cities I fell in love with Minnesota and always hoped to return to practice here one day. After six years in academic medicine in Nebraska and two years as a laborist in Arizona, I am thrilled to be joining Western OB/GYN and settling in Minnesota for good. When not working, I enjoy cooking, reading, running, being outdoors and spending time with my husband, our two young children, and our dogs.

Dr. Edsill provides the full scope of women’s health care, including low- and high-risk pregnancy, routine health maintenance, gynecologic care and menopause, with special interest in teens, contraceptive management and minimally invasive procedures.
