Krista Kranz, CNM, provides midwifery care to women at Western OB/GYN, A Division of Ridgeview Clinics. Kranz sees patients at the Chaska and Waconia clinic locations, caring for women at all stages of life.
Kranz practices full scope midwifery from adolescence through menopause including preventive care, contraceptive management, pre-conception, prenatal, antenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic care, perimenopause and menopausal care. She has special medical interests in complementary and alternative therapies, water birth and lactation.
Kranz seeks to empower women and their families by offering evidence-based information and encouraging them to direct their health care. She focuses on treating the whole woman and believes that all too often women are so busy caring for others that they forget to start within.
Kranz enjoys spending time with family and friends—outdoors whenever possible. She and her husband have six children and live on a small hobby farm in Gaylord. Kranz also enjoys running, photography, gardening and canning.
